Larinda McRaven
Originally from Jefferson City, Missouri, Larinda was introduced to ballroom dancing when she attended college at Southwest Missouri State, eventually obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater and Stage Performance. The studio and local professionals were the inspiration to pursue dancing as a career. Within 9 short years, Larinda became the 2004 Professional North American Smooth Champion, an Open United States Finalist and Ohio Star Ball Finalist for 6 years. She eventually obtained over 150 Championship and Competition wins and titles, including Yankee Classic Champion, Manhattan DanceSport Champion, US Top Rising Star Couple, and Emerald Ball Champion. Larinda is a full-time professional ballroom coach and holds extensive teaching certifications from the ISTD and Terpsichore. She travels to coach, choreograph, and is a National Adjudicator.
